The Gaston County, NC Democratic Party
The Gaston County Democratic Party will hold a very important executive committee meeting at 7 pm Nov 23 at the Gaston County Police Dept, 420 W Franklin.
The main item is the resignation and replacement of Chair Robert Kellogg, who has been elected to the Gastonia City Council. He will be sworn into his new position Nov. 30.
Only precinct chairs, vice chairs and other members of the executive committee will be able to vote, but any Democrat may attend and participate in the discussion.
If voting members can not attend, they may send a proxy. Proxies for chairs and vice chairs must be from the same precinct. Proxies must have written notices signed by member. They must be registered Democrats. Proxies should be given to secretary before start of meeting. A quorum of 29 must be present to conduct business.
